Why “From the North”?

What You Need to Know

Two verses inspire the title. First, Job 37:22 “Fair weather cometh out of the north:with God is terrible majesty”. Also, Proverbs 25:23 “The north wind driveth away rain:so doth an angry countenance a backbiting tongue”. In both verses, the wind from the North brings good weather.  As I pastor Northside Baptist Church, that is exactly what we want to do with this blog.  The words (wind) that leave our mouths should bring peace and hope for the day ahead.  As we share the Word of God, specifically the Gospel, our desire is to share the beautiful hope of a peaceful eternity to come when faith is placed in our Savior.
