Genesis 1:27; Deuteronomy 22:5

This world is working overtime to blur the lines of distinction between men and women. The feminist movement works to make women more like men. Those fighting against the so-called "toxic masculinity" fight to make men more like women. The trans movement says that there is no difference and that a person can cross from one gender to the other. In the process, the most basic and concrete part of our identity has been stripped away. Is it any wonder that people are confused, depressed, and feeling hopeless?
So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
Genesis 1:27
A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman’s garment, for all who do so are an abomination to the LORD your God.
Deuteronomy 22:5
Pardon my bluntness for just a moment, but one of the DUMBEST things to come about in recent years is this new movement of saying a person was "assigned a gender at birth". A doctor, nurse, parent, or anyone doing the paperwork does not have the power to assign a gender. Genesis 1:27 covers that. God creates people, he forms them in their mother's womb (Psalm 139:13). He creates each of us how He desires us to be. This includes our gender, our physical stature, and talents and abilities. To not like the gender you are born as, is to rebel against God and His will for Your life.
To further clarify this, Moses wrote in Deuteronomy 22:5 that a woman should not wear men's clothing and a man should not wear women's clothing. This pertains to cross dressing and pagan practices. It would have typically had a sexual nature about it. There were male and female prostitutes and many times these were used in the religious practices of the pagan worship. God said "No". Cross dressing was the beginning of the trans movement. Men are to be men and women are to be women. God made us who we are. A man does not have to be John Wayne, but there are Biblical guidelines for what a man is supposed to be. Any man not fulfilling God's requirements for being the head of his home, leading his family, praying for his family, and setting the standard of God's expectation within the home is living in rebellion to God. Any woman who is not living by God's standard for what a woman is to be, is living in rebellion to God. The husband cannot decide to do the wife's job and the wife cannot decide to do the man's job. No person will feel at peace with God if they abdicate their God given responsibility.
Some might say, "Well I don't believe in God". Your belief does not change the reality of His existence, or your responsibility to Him to be who He created you to be. I can tell my boss that I do not believe in assigning grades, and therefore refuse to give grades. That does not change the reality that there is a grading system and I am responsible to my boss (and his bosses) to give grades to my students. I have a responsibility. We have a responsibility to God!
Father, this world hates what you made us to be. It tries to destroy your standards and in so doing, people's lives are destroyed. May Your people stand for truth, teach truth, and speak truth in Love. I pray that you open hearts to receive that truth as well. I pray that You would be merciful to our nation and that You would draw us back to Yourself.
